Known for his athletic qualities, versatility and technical abilities, he usually plays as a critical midfielder, but can also be deployed as a full-back and defensive midfielder.

Camavinga started his career in Ligue 1 with Rennes, making his senior debut at the age of 16, and quickly established himself as a first-team player on a daily basis. In 2021, he signed for Real Madrid for an amount of 31 million euros, winning a La Liga and UEFA Champions League double in his first season.

Born in Angola of Angolan and Congolese origin, Camavinga moved to France at a younger age, eventually representing the country at the under-21 stage. He made his first senior appearance for the French national team in 2020 at the age of 17, becoming the youngest debutant in the state in more than a century. He became a member of the French team that finished second in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Early Life

Camavinga was born in a refugee camp in Cabinda, Angola, in 2002, to an Angolan-Congolese father and a Congolese mother who fled the civil conflict inside the DR Congo. He has 5 brothers and sisters. His family moved to France when he had become two.



 They finally settled in ferns, in which he grew up. He did judo for a while before giving it as much consciousness as football. In 2013, the Camavingas' residence was burned down, destroying most of the circle of relative property. Camavinga said that this turned into a source of motivation that pushed him to pursue a profession in football and help his family.

Real Madrid

On August 31, 2021, Real Madrid announced the signing of Camavinga until June 30, 2027.
